First day here in Buffalo. This is also my first mission trip that I've been on. From what I've experienced so far, it's been fun.
We arrived here around 8 last night, after a 7 hour drive from Northbridge. We were the first ones to get here, and the only ones here until this afternoon. We watched the World Cup where the US won earlier. I'm looking forward to working with the Catholic charities throughout the week, doing all sorts of things.
We got to sing "All the People Said Amen" at the end of the session earlier tonight, which brings back the memories of earlier in the school year, where me and about 60 others all met after-school once a month, and this song was part of those events.
The sleeping area was initially tight when everyone else had gotten there, but we had organized it and made it look fairly neat.
We are the smallest group here with only 7 of us, but we're able to still participate in things that were easier with larger groups.
It's going to be a fun week.
